I am very satisfied with both the products and service provided by London Box Sash Windows. I was reassured by Murray’s knowledge and experience and he was helpful and patient when I was working out what I wanted. He listened, and there was no “hard sell”. Harry did the survey and Anjelo and Rafal the installation. They were all punctual and courteous. The installation was carried out quickly and efficiently, and Anjelo and Rafal took care with my property and tidied up after themselves. The aftersales care provided by Murray was excellent. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Having windows replaced is not a cheap option and involves a fair amount of upheaval, but I felt throughout the process that I could trust LBSW to provide value for money and make it as smooth as possible. I am very pleased with the end result. My new bay window looks great and is totally in keeping with the period of my property, including the “swept” heads. I immediately started to feel the benefits of having double-glazing in terms of heat retention, no draughts and noise reduction. I will also benefit from the improved security and low maintenance it offers. I would not hesitate to recommend London Box Sash Windows.

So happy with the whole experience with London Box Sash. Our new windows look amazing. The whole process was very thorough, competitive in price and really quick for install – which was a nice surprise as the lead time was halved from what we’d thought it might be. The team were also exceptionally helpful when one of the old windows were were planning to replace was severely damaged during a storm. They came to board it up free of charge in the interim while the new one was still being built. Simon in particular was really helpful – a huge thank you to the whole team.

A fantastic job. The end result is brilliant and a big improvement in terms of sound and thermal insulation. The team went above and beyond, taking time to understand our requirements and coming up with creative solutions. They were helpful and responsive throughout the process and the job was done quickly, carefully and meticulously – despite a last-minute adjustment that had to be made during the replacement. We felt in very safe hands and trusted the team completely – I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

This is the second time we have used London Box Sash to replace wooden sash windows in our conservation-area property. The quality of the windows is excellent. The team at London Box Sash, both the people in the office and the installers who come out to fit the windows, are an absolute pleasure to do business with. The installation team left my house spotless. A couple of small snagging items were dealt with within days. Highly recommended.

This is the second time we’ve used London Box Sash in the last 2-3 years. Once to replace all the windows at the front and recently to replace windows at the rear.Both times the service has been excellent all the way from the office staff to the operatives on site. We are a returning customer of London box sash windows. Initially we went with them as they were the cheapest quotes however when we needed other windows to be replaced we didn’t approach any other company, we were so happy with the job they did the first time we wanted to use them again.I was fully informed about what to expect, given clear time scales and they were super helpful in providing information to support our planning application.There was a slight hiccup with the window not being quite right however this was resolved with no issue at all, another window was made and fitted within a few weeks.The fitters are really friendly, work hard and clean. They do an excellent job and I have no complaints what so ever!The whole service from start to finish has been really positive.

Excellent team, really helpful. The new windows fit perfectly. No draughts, easy to open and close and high quality fittings. So good, we keep going back and have changed them all.

Had a set of windows fitted in two rooms, replacing old single glazed windows with new double glazed sash windows. The new windows are a marked improvement and are keeping the house much warmer and better insulated all round. Very professional all round and easy to deal with on fitting timeframes – super speedy fitting too!

Thrilled with our 3 new box sash windows. The quality of the windows is excellent and worth every penny. I thought the price was very fair compared to other quotes I received given the quality of the wood that is used, the length of the guarantees and the ease of the company to deal with. The process from start to end has been seamless. Everyone we interacted with was superbly knowledgeable, responsive and helpful – from Harry, the sales person who helped explain all the design considerations and options very clearly, Judith in the office helping getting us booked in and Andy, the fitter. Andy consulted us on any bits where needed explaining clearly the decision that was needed and his work was to an excellent standard and he was very clean and tidy and respectful of our home. He also kindly made the suggestion to ask our decorator to angle the external sills as they were flat so that the water runs off which would help avoid any damp issues and improve longevity. His wealth of experience was very obvious and I was grateful for him sharing these pointers and discussing directly with my decorator – it’s something that would never have crossed my mind without his tip. I thoroughly recommend!

Can’t recommend enough.The windows installed seem like they’re a really high quality product. Very good customer service from end to end. They do a really thorough consultation & respond quickly to calls and emails. The day of the installation was easy and the guys who installed were quick and left no dust or mess. Followed up at the end via text, email and a call to check I was happy with the product – highly rate this approach.

I found London Box Sash Windows through an online search.With my previous company, I did not get any Fensa certificate and the quality of the wood was inferior to the one used by LBSW for similar prices.They offer a 10% discount for their Standby Schedule Saving which gives very good notice for the client as well. I was very happy with the bespoke casement window they installed in my property. The company also agreed to repair it promptly after a number of years. London box sash install high quality timber windows and seem to care about their customers.

Needed a couple of old aluminium windows replaced with box sashes. Found recommendation for London Box Sash Windows Ltdon Which? Trusted Traders website (where they came top for our local area with over one hundred 5* reviews). Three days after the first phone contact, Jake came to our house to quote for the job. He took his time to take us through the various product options and even brought a sample sash window to demonstrate those options (all without any of the often quite annoying hard selling tactics). The quote price wasn’t cheap but within our expectations, and therefore we decided to go ahead with this company. We were given the option to either go for a scheduled installation date 10 to 12 weeks into the future or to go on a stand-by list. We opted for stand-by and a week later Harry (installation manager) visited to take the exact measurements for the window production and to reconfirm all the chosen options. About 2 weeks later, we were given an installation date.The actual installation was done by Andy over 2 days (1 day per window). On both days he started work at 7.30am, properly preparing the room with dust sheets and covering all carpets, before even touching his tools. He worked both days non stop until about 4pm. Andy was very pleasant to have in the house. He took the time to explain the details of the installation and patiently answered all of our many questions.The best, however, was the finished product. 2 gorgeous wooden box sash windows that are perfectly balanced, so that you can actually lift the solid and quite heavy sashes with just one finger!I wish that we had used London Box Sash Windows Ltdfor the replacement sash windows at the front of our house, a job which we had done about 6 years ago. Although those were of good quality, they are nowhere close to the ones that we had done just now.Without hesitation, I will recommend London Box Sash Windows Ltd to friends and neighbours and only keep quiet about this great company to the people I don’t like …

London Box Sash Windows just completed the installation of our new, double glazed windows across our mid-terraced Victorian house. We couldn’t be happier with the experience, from start to finish. Jake took a lot of time during the initial consultation, explaining the options available and impact on costs. We had four quotes in the end, roughly in the same price range and decided to go with LBSW due to their professionalism and responsiveness. Harry did the technical inspection pre-installation and Judith kept us updated throughout the process.At the scheduled day of installation, Audris arrived punctually (on the minute!) and his and David’s work was spotless. They both worked extremely hard, precise and left every room they worked in tidy (we didn’t have to do any cleaning ourselves!). Within a week, all our windows were done, in line with the promised timeline. We could really trust the team and go about our lives and just leave them with a key, which is a great feeling. Also, there was much less redecoration needed than we feared, thanks to the team’s careful way of working.Choosing a firm to work with for new windows was a big decision for us, and I can only recommend LSBW. Our house is much warmer, quieter and with no more annoying draughts, we don’t regret the investment for a second.

For some time we have been working towards replacing some sash windows in our large mid-Victorian semi-detached house so as to reduce draft, make some rooms warmer, make window opening easier and hopefully safe some energy cost (although we knew that the payback time against energy cost is long). We had visits from several companies identified with flyers through the door, internet searching and personal recommendation, the latter being for London Box Sash Windows (LBS). It was clear from the start that LBS offered a more personalised service and listened more carefully to what we actually wanted. They were the only company to offer sash-only replacement (as against the whole window and frame) and were the only company to point out that full frame replacement would cause problems with windows where the window frame was integrated with shutters and a plaster cornice.All the pre-installation contact was great, with a very detailed on-site discussion of what was wanted, and the different options. LBS helped us create two windows with reproduction Victorian coloured and frosted glass which look fantastic (see attached photo). A very detailed specification and estimate was sent for checking and acceptance, and then a second survey by the fitting expert to iron out the last few potential glitches.The two fitters were brilliant, changing 8 windows in 4 days, arriving promptly for a 7.30am start, and meticulously clearing up dust and rubbish to leave the house in a very good state each day. They worked with minimal noise and fuss and were receptive to the large number of checks and queries that always crop up during a large job in your own home. They were not the least put out when our plumber turned up a day earlier than expected to refit some radiators. On the final evening we immediately noticed the reduction in noise and draught, and the increased warmth.We would not hesitate to use LBS again and to recommend them to others. High quality full replacement of sash windows is not cheap, but we feel that we have installed an excellent product that has greatly enhanced the comfort of our home, that will last for many years, and that has increased its eventual sale value.

Absolutely brilliant windows. We looked around the competitors but London Box Sash made windows that looked closest to our originals. I used London Box Sash Windows for two separate installations over the last year and I have nothing but praise for the company. From the initial contact, through the estimating to the final installations, the people I dealt with were polite, informative, helpful, punctual and hard working. We had a mix of sash and casement windows fitted and the product is absolutely top notch. We had some issues with our builder making new openings for the windows but the advice and flexibility with the fitting dates given by LBSW made the process and the overall look of the windows superb. I’ve used a few tradespeople over the last few years and LBSW are by far the most professional and committed. A company based on wonderful craftsmanship and customer service!

Phenomenal windows and service.We chose to use London Box Sash Windows following a recommendation and couldn’t be happier.The entire process from start to finish was absolutely seamless, from the initial survey, selecting designs that replicated our existing Victorian windows like for like, to the fitting and end result.We were astonished not only by the brilliant quality of the new windows (upgrading from original frames and glass means that the property is now silent, cooler and undoubtedly warmer come winter) but the speed the fitting team worked at and their attention to detail.

Excellent quality and service. Having originally wanted one replacement sash window, we were so impressed with the quality of the one we ordered, we went on to order four more. The build quality , insulation and acoustic properties are excellent, and the style fits perfectly into our early Edwardian house. The service was always courteous, communication precise and regular, and the fitting itself carried out with great care and consideration. We are delighted with the windows, which have made a huge difference to our previously draughty home.

An excellent all-round experience; the windows look fantastic and the much-feared compulsory trickle vent is particularly discreet! If we ever need more doing we know where to come.

London Box Sash our first choice having consulted widely. We were pleased with the quality of the demo window shown and were able to visit a reference customer not far away. Had the windows fitted over 5 years ago – I called to report 1 of the 16 windows had some condensation between the panes of double glazing. No quibble – they ordered a new window taken from their record and replaced it. The engineer arrived as scheduled – completed the job within 2 hours with no mess. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!From the first day I met Jake for a quote I knew this was the company I was looking for. Professionalism, patience, competence, passion were all there in front of me and I had no doubt I could trust their work.Then came Harry with his obsession to details in taking measurement in a pretty old house which can be very complex and challenging due to the old and not very even structure.And then the work itself done by my 2 rockstars! Audrius and David have been amazing in fitting the windows; extremely precise, always caring about what I felt or thought about the ongoing works, very clean as well! I was expecting lots of dust and damages to the walls but not at all! We have used London Box Sash three times and they just do such a great job. The quality of the manufacture, the fit of the windows both in the brickwork and the making good afterwards as well as the sashes in the frames is just top notch. The sashes move so smoothly and seal so well – our flat is just very warm and quiet now. The guys who performed the installation are strong to be able to lift the massive heavy units into position but at the same time they have the finesse to do things to a very high degree of precision to give a top finish (eg the painting and the fitting of the ironmongery). In addition they look after your home and are very polite and considerate. They are not cheap but work to a very high standard and at speed and are worth every penny. Highly recommended.

I still can’t get over how good these guys were. They somehow managed to change most of the windows in our house in 4 days – way shorter than I thought it would take. The quality of the work is superb – they make the house look spectacular. I expected follow up work to be needed but the patching up they do around the windows makes it look almost as if the were never there. And the team itself was great – so considerate of our house, incredibly polite, and explained everything they were doing. New windows aren’t something we’ll need for many more years but I’ll definitely be a return customer when we do. Thank you!
