One recent customer explained:

Thrilled with our 3 new box sash windows. The quality of the windows is excellent and worth every penny. I thought the price was very fair compared to other quotes I received given the quality of the wood that is used, the length of the guarantees and the ease of the company to deal with. The process from start to end has been seamless. Everyone we interacted with was superbly knowledgeable, responsive and helpful – from Harry, the sales person who helped explain all the design considerations and options very clearly, Judith in the office helping getting us booked in and Andy, the fitter. Andy consulted us on any bits where needed explaining clearly the decision that was needed and his work was to an excellent standard and he was very clean and tidy and respectful of our home.

Thinking about wooden sash windows in Kingston-upon-Thames, KT1

Kingston-upon-Thames, a historic market town on the River Thames, boasts a mix of architectural styles, from charming Victorian and Edwardian homes to sleek, modern developments. Many properties feature classic period details such as bay windows and intricate brickwork. Homeowners in Kingston often focus on preserving the traditional character of their properties while incorporating modern upgrades for comfort and efficiency.

Accoya wood offers many benefits, making it an ideal choice for sash windows. Its exceptional dimensional stability means it resists moisture-related issues. Accoya’s natural resistance to decay ensures durability, as it is impervious to insects, fungi, and rot. Environmentally conscious homeowners will appreciate its sustainable origins, as it is sourced from FSC-certified forests and requires less maintenance, reducing its ecological footprint.

This long-lasting material is a sound investment, backed by a 50-year guarantee for exterior use and 25 years for ground contact. Accoya also offers superior UV resistance, helping it maintain its aesthetic appeal even under prolonged exposure to sunlight. Additionally, its ability to hold paint or varnish for extended periods means your windows and doors will remain beautiful with minimal upkeep.

I had 8 box sash windows replaced and chose London Box Sash Windows because they offered acoustic glass and coloured glass to match the originals. The work was done in 3 days and the job was difficult because the original windows & frames weren’t straight. The guys did a brilliant job and I am really pleased with the new windows. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the company.

What a fantastic company . Professional from start to finish . We have had wood sash windows replaced in our Victorian terrace house . The product and the work carried out was amazing – we are so happy with the result . From the sales team to the fitters, everything went smoothly and we now have beautiful, period appropriate wood sash windows. It was so worth the cost. We couldn’t be more pleased . Would highly recommend the London Box Sash window company.

We could not be more pleased with the service we received from London Box Sash Windows. The process from start to finish was very easy from Jake who came to quote, Judith in the office and Andy who came to install were super helpful. The windows are great quality and Andy did a fantastic job, we have rather a "drunk" Victorian house, our bathroom ceiling in particular, Andy has done such a good job, it looks amazing. He was also very clean and tidy. A huge thank you to Jake, Judith and Andy

London Box Sash replaced all the sash windows at the front of my Victorian house including a dormer, and a kitchen casement window. Every aspect of this company’s service was friendly, efficient and highly professional. The windows themselves are perfect with a 50 year guarantee and the fitters were extremely competent and completed the task very quickly. They also took exacting care not to leave any mess, building a floor to ceiling screen around all the work and covering every inch of floor. I was particularly impressed with the initial survey, where my needs were listened to so that what was installed exactly met my requirements. I chose the company’s ‘standby’ offer since I wanted the work done fairly quickly, and they were accommodating enough to fit it within the dates I could do. The customer service was also everything I could ask for, and when a blind couldn’t be refitted and there was a problem with rehanging a curtain rail, I was compensated. It was one of the higher quotes I received, but completely worth it, and the standby reduction made a difference. I can’t recommend too highly.

We asked Simon to come and quote for replacing 6 tired windows – 3 casement and 3 sash windows. Simon arrived on time and was very polite. What impressed me most was his honesty and integrity. He asked how long we intended to stay in our home and he did a thorough review of the condition of our windows and then said, we would be better off just repairing them. In this day and age it's rare to find someone not trying to force sell things to you. Chapeau. Rest assured we will use this company in the future when we do need to replace our existing windows.
