Very efficient local team, first to book appointment and good contact from Judith in the office. Very thorough presentation from Jake and ability to offer a discount for speedy installation. Andy installed windows and he was professional & friendly. A very clean and methodical approach. They also have an after service care should anything happen which is very reassuring .I have already recommended them to two friends of mine.

We fit Accoya sash windows and wooden sash windows in Forest Hill, SE23

Forest Hill in South-East London is known for its charming, tree-lined streets and beautifully preserved period properties, many of which feature classic sash windows integral to their architectural character.

From Georgian townhouses to Victorian terraces, these homes reflect a timeless elegance that makes Forest Hill a sought-after area for homeowners. However, due to the age of many of these properties, original sash windows may have become worn or inefficient over time, leading to drafts, condensation, or difficulty in operation. R

Replacing sash windows with high-quality, energy-efficient replicas can enhance the comfort and aesthetic appeal of these heritage homes. Accoya wood undergoes an innovative acetylation process, making it exceptionally durable and resistant to decay, rot, and insects. This increased lifespan is complemented by its remarkable dimensional stability, ensuring smooth operation and a longer life.

Accoya’s low maintenance is a key benefit, as its reduced water absorption extends the life of finishes. Its thermal insulation properties improve energy efficiency, making it an eco-friendly option that can lower energy costs. Accoya wood also supports sustainability, offering both the environmental advantages of softwoods and the durability of hardwoods, earning C2C Gold certification.

Forest Hill A+ rated sliding sash window installation

Double-glazed sash windows can significantly enhance your home’s energy efficiency. According to the Energy Saving Trust, installing A-rated double-glazed windows in a single-glazed semi-detached home can save homeowners around £195 per year.

The insulated air space between the glass panes in double or triple glazing helps reduce heat transfer by slowing down convection and conduction, keeping your home warmer for longer and lowering heating costs, making it a smart investment for energy-conscious homeowners.

Having taken a few quotes, we went with this local firm for box sash replacement, looking for period design and modern performance. The quote was fairly priced and the detail of specification involved was very reassuring. Arranging the install was easy and flexible, the installer was very professional and obviously highly skilled. And, we're delighted with the results, the quality is pretty spectacular and although windows of this spec are not cheap, they don't look or feel cheap either. Silent, warm, and elegant, transforming the feel of the two rooms we fitted then in. Very happy.

I had 8 box sash windows replaced and chose London Box Sash Windows because they offered acoustic glass and coloured glass to match the originals. The work was done in 3 days and the job was difficult because the original windows & frames weren’t straight. The guys did a brilliant job and I am really pleased with the new windows. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the company.

What a fantastic company . Professional from start to finish . We have had wood sash windows replaced in our Victorian terrace house . The product and the work carried out was amazing – we are so happy with the result . From the sales team to the fitters, everything went smoothly and we now have beautiful, period appropriate wood sash windows. It was so worth the cost. We couldn’t be more pleased . Would highly recommend the London Box Sash window company.

We could not be more pleased with the service we received from London Box Sash Windows. The process from start to finish was very easy from Jake who came to quote, Judith in the office and Andy who came to install were super helpful. The windows are great quality and Andy did a fantastic job, we have rather a "drunk" Victorian house, our bathroom ceiling in particular, Andy has done such a good job, it looks amazing. He was also very clean and tidy. A huge thank you to Jake, Judith and Andy

London Box Sash replaced all the sash windows at the front of my Victorian house including a dormer, and a kitchen casement window. Every aspect of this company’s service was friendly, efficient and highly professional. The windows themselves are perfect with a 50 year guarantee and the fitters were extremely competent and completed the task very quickly. They also took exacting care not to leave any mess, building a floor to ceiling screen around all the work and covering every inch of floor. I was particularly impressed with the initial survey, where my needs were listened to so that what was installed exactly met my requirements. I chose the company’s ‘standby’ offer since I wanted the work done fairly quickly, and they were accommodating enough to fit it within the dates I could do. The customer service was also everything I could ask for, and when a blind couldn’t be refitted and there was a problem with rehanging a curtain rail, I was compensated. It was one of the higher quotes I received, but completely worth it, and the standby reduction made a difference. I can’t recommend too highly.
