Norbury sash window company to fit Accoya sash windows

Our sash windows and casement windows are ideal for both modern and traditional properties, combining classic style with contemporary performance. The timeless sash design enhances the character of any home, while our use of Accoya timber ensures the superior durability and functionality that modern materials can provide.

Accoya is a specially treated softwood enhanced through an innovative process called acetylation. This treatment strengthens the wood and renders it resistant to insect damage, making it an exceptionally durable option. With proper care, Accoya sash windows can last over 80 years and require minimal maintenance from homeowners.

Our Accoya windows are sustainably sourced and fully recyclable, positioning them as some of the most environmentally friendly options. By choosing our Accoya sash windows, you are investing in quality and longevity and making a responsible choice for the environment. This perfect blend of style, strength, and sustainability ensures that our sash windows will enhance your home for generations.

Sliding sash window installation in Streatham, CR4

In South London, Streatham is renowned for its green spaces and Victorian and Edwardian architecture. The area boasts a mix of period homes, including terraced houses and elegant flats, many of which feature traditional sash windows integral to their character.

These original windows may suffer from wear and tear over time, leading to issues such as drafts, poor insulation, and difficulty in operation. London Box Sash Windows just completed the installation of our new, double glazed windows across our mid-terraced Victorian house. We couldn’t be happier with the experience, from start to finish. Jake took a lot of time during the initial consultation, explaining the options available and impact on costs. We had four quotes in the end, roughly in the same price range and decided to go with LBSW due to their professionalism and responsiveness. Harry did the technical inspection pre-installation and Judith kept us updated throughout the process. At the scheduled day of installation, Audris arrived punctually (on the minute!) and his and David’s work was spotless. They both worked extremely hard, precise and left every room they worked in tidy (we didn’t have to do any cleaning ourselves!)… Our house is much warmer, quieter and with no more annoying draughts, we don’t regret the investment for a second.

I had 8 box sash windows replaced and chose London Box Sash Windows because they offered acoustic glass and coloured glass to match the originals. The work was done in 3 days and the job was difficult because the original windows & frames weren’t straight. The guys did a brilliant job and I am really pleased with the new windows. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the company.

What a fantastic company . Professional from start to finish . We have had wood sash windows replaced in our Victorian terrace house . The product and the work carried out was amazing – we are so happy with the result . From the sales team to the fitters, everything went smoothly and we now have beautiful, period appropriate wood sash windows. It was so worth the cost. We couldn’t be more pleased . Would highly recommend the London Box Sash window company.

We could not be more pleased with the service we received from London Box Sash Windows. The process from start to finish was very easy from Jake who came to quote, Judith in the office and Andy who came to install were super helpful. The windows are great quality and Andy did a fantastic job, we have rather a "drunk" Victorian house, our bathroom ceiling in particular, Andy has done such a good job, it looks amazing. He was also very clean and tidy. A huge thank you to Jake, Judith and Andy

London Box Sash replaced all the sash windows at the front of my Victorian house including a dormer, and a kitchen casement window. Every aspect of this company’s service was friendly, efficient and highly professional. The windows themselves are perfect with a 50 year guarantee and the fitters were extremely competent and completed the task very quickly. They also took exacting care not to leave any mess, building a floor to ceiling screen around all the work and covering every inch of floor. I was particularly impressed with the initial survey, where my needs were listened to so that what was installed exactly met my requirements. I chose the company’s ‘standby’ offer since I wanted the work done fairly quickly, and they were accommodating enough to fit it within the dates I could do. The customer service was also everything I could ask for, and when a blind couldn’t be refitted and there was a problem with rehanging a curtain rail, I was compensated. It was one of the higher quotes I received, but completely worth it, and the standby reduction made a difference. I can’t recommend too highly.

We asked Simon to come and quote for replacing 6 tired windows – 3 casement and 3 sash windows. Simon arrived on time and was very polite. What impressed me most was his honesty and integrity. He asked how long we intended to stay in our home and he did a thorough review of the condition of our windows and then said, we would be better off just repairing them. In this day and age it's rare to find someone not trying to force sell things to you. Chapeau. Rest assured we will use this company in the future when we do need to replace our existing windows.
