A+ rated sash window installation
It is essential to prioritise energy efficiency in your home. Installing thermally efficient windows enhances your quality of life and contributes to environmental protection by lowering carbon emissions. No matter which style you select, the benefits will immediately be evident. You will experience a warmer, more comfortable living space and enjoy savings on your heating bills.
Timber sash windows are an exceptional choice for several other reasons. First, it has a significantly longer lifespan compared to alternative materials. While uPVC typically lasts 15 to 25 years and aluminium up to 30 years, timber can outlast these options by as much as 30 years when properly maintained.
Although the initial cost of timber windows and doors may be higher than that of other materials, their longevity – around 60 years – results in lower overall costs throughout their lifetime. Additionally, timber is the only mainstream construction material that is nearly infinitely renewable and regenerative.
Our windows are designed to open and close smoothly. They usually feature counterbalanced mechanisms or spring systems, enabling easy opening and closing without requiring excessive force or maintenance.
